CSE 110 Video Guidelines(Not for presentation)

CSE 110 videos have historically been a fun way to showcase your project to the course staff, to your peers, and to potential employers. The video should show off your project and the hard work you’ve put into it over the quarter.

You should include content in your video that will showcase your project’s innovation, technical merit and user experience. The video should specifically demonstrate:

  • Your project’s functionality and how a user can benefit from using the functionality your project implements,
  • The technology choices your team made including insights into decisions, challenges faced, and how your team overcame those challenges,
  • Your team’s culture and development process.

Please be aware of the following items when making your video:

  • Length: 8 to 10 minutes.
  • Your video should focus on implementation of technology
  • You have creative freedom, but keep your content relevant and suitable to an audience of technical professionals interested in software development including potentially managers hiring software developers.
    • The video will be used by course staff to get familiar with your application before garding it
    • >
    • It will not be used for any presentation purpose for the course
    • If you have questions about the appropriateness of the content, please check with the course staff
    • We encourage you to post your video links on piazza for your peers to see.
Have fun, and feel free to ask a member of the course staff if you have questions!
