Integrity of Scholarship

Plagiarism and other forms of cheating will not be tolerated. DO meet with us to enrich your experience in the course. Do not submit work as your own if it should properly be credited to others. Do not submit code from another course, unless Professor Baden has authorized use of the code.

Incidents of cheating will be enforced according to the UCSD Policy on Integrity of Scholarship as described in the UCSD General Catalog and in the UCSD Academic Senate's Bylaws and Regulations. Possible penalties include expulsion from the University and receiving an 'F' grade for the course.

In taking this course, you implicitly agree to abide by the Academic Integrity of Scholarship policies of the course, which are further described in the following document:
                            http://www.cse.ucsd.edu/~baden/Integrity.html

Be sure to familiarize yourself with the policies in effect for the course. If you have any questions, see Professor Baden.

Deadlines

You should work around any planned absences from school and inevitable machine down-time. We will not waive deadlines except in cases of emergency or  hardship  In the event of an emergency or other hardship, contact us as soon as you can.  If you are planning to be away from school, be sure and contact one of us in advance.

Grading Policies

Your grade will be based on four project assignments (60%) , the midterm (15%), and the final exam (25%).

We encourage assignments to be done in teams of 2 students. Teams larger than 2 will not be allowed. Individuals or teams must do their own work on their assignments.
